Hyosung GT250R Exhaust Questions

First Question:
Ok i have never seen a shorty pipe on a hyosung gt250r, and was wondering what would be needed to make it fit, i know cutting would be needed.

Second Question:
Ok i see my bike is bolt on, but i think i have a link on cheap slip-on's can i just wield a flange and bolt it on or will that not work? the flange pic is just a example*

This will have nothing to do with your question but.. Another GT250R in Scarborough!! I never see any! (except today with a red one parked outside my gym at like 630..) I went with Screaming Demon exhaust... what's the point (if any) of a shorty?
