Help locating a shop in GTA that I saw an ad for

I know this is a long shot but a few weeks ago I saw a small add for a shop I had never heard of in the GTA.
They were advertising Belstaff jackets.
Anyone know of a shop in the GTA that sell Belsatff?
It might have been in the west end????

I've never heard of a motorcycle shop in Toronto that sells Belstaff. It's more of a fashion label than functional bike gear besides being outrageously expensive for the average biker. The high end shops like Harry Rosen or Holt Renfrew may carry Belstaff. Or maybe you were thinking about Town Moto? http://townmoto.com/

Their functional motorcycle line is called "Pure Motorcycle"....and I agree it's expensive.

Town Moto does not carry it.
BMW Toronto carries Belstaff, although they really only have a few pieces.

Yes, they also have a fashion line, which is sold by Harry Rosen.

Anyway, I was able to find a great deal on-line for the jacket I am after
 
The Belstaff label was sold to a fashion house, same guys that engineered the Burberry turnaround are behind it. Its very nice and 60's and 70's jackets are worth considerably more than they cost new now.

Shouldn't be long till Chinese knockoffs are at the bike shows, I've never seen so many Burberry Iconic tartan scarves as this winter.

Ya, for sure.
Apparently the brand has been sold yet again.
The fashion line leather jackets are beautiful as well...but crazy expensive starting at $2,000.

Lots' of knock off Belstaff stuff on-line.
 
I bought an old-school Belstaff waxed-cotton motorcycle jacket at McBride's Cycle many years ago (rememeber them?). Retro style for sure.
I just sold it on Kijiji last year and you wouldn't believe the interest it generated. Sold it immediately and the guy drove over an hour to come get it.
 
I bought a BelStaff sweater from Harry Rosan, they carry all the jackets there...
Go check it out if you're near Yorkdale.

If its a 42-44, PM me in 15 years when it wears out and i may be able to afford it. That harry fella, he's got expensive duds.

Lol... It's just a sweater, I could never bring myself to spend $1000+ on a jacket that I will barely wear.
Plus, it's not really my style.

I did spend a pretty penny on the Dainese Tattoo, though.
Sucked when I low-sided and scratched the sleeve.

Did some reno work at the Harry Rosen Bloor St store about 20 years ago...had to move a rolling display stand of clothes...noticed a price tag of $80 that had fallen off an item....was curious what they could be selling for "only" $80....it was a belt:rolleyes:
 
^ Lol.. That's a cheap belt, too.

They have Dolce and Gabbana t-shirts for $200. lol
 
The Pure Motorcycle line is very good stuff. It comes with CE Armor, etc. but is crazy expensive. The rest of the line is fashion stuff.

I've had a Trialmaster Jacket and a Full Trialmaster one piece suit for over 20 years. They are still in great condition. The suit is the only thing I have ever owned that has been 100% waterproof. There is one on ebay right now for $750. I paid around $75 new - Crazy!!!
