Yup Facebook, Message forums....all have different e-mails as they are used for different purposes to avoid Junk Mail, Hacking.....For example, Facebook has personal e-mail whereas Message Forums have made up e-mail....simple and helps to avoid issues like this thats why I was confused when people were making a big deal of this.
