Friend has trailer at Shelter Valley. Highway 2 and surrounding roads (apple country) will lull you into thinking it is easy going but there are corners that are sharper and longer then anticipated that will catch you off guard. GWS

I did some bicycle camping in the area a lifetime ago. Pleasant roads but not perfect.
