Almost done rebuilding one of my spare RD400's, she'll be up for sale very soon.*
Hate to let it go but I have to many other things that need my attention.*
Bike is 95% stock, what's been done:*
New rebuilt motor (top and bottom)*
Crank was brought to Yamaha dealer, sent it away to CVTech AAB Inc. for service*
Heads was brought to Yamaha dealer, sent away to machine shop for rebore*
New crank bearings (OEM yamaha)*
New transmission bearings (OEM Yamaha)*
New labyrinth seal (OEM Yamaha)*
New rods (OEM Yamaha)*
New Wiseco pistons*
Rebuilt oil pump (OEM Yamaha)*
New reeds (OEM Yamaha)*
New seals (OEM Yamaha)*
New seat (after market but looks like stock Yamaha just no logo on the back)*
New head light*
Dyna S electronic ignition (no messing with points)
What it still needs:*
A rider*
Battery*
A good wash (that's tomorrow's project)*
Flasher relay 130$ from the dealer (they're retarded)....*
I'll have something in place before it goes up for sale.* (edit: relay installed)
As I mentioned this bike is 95% stock original, the only upgrade is the Dyna S electronic ignition. (value 300$ USD)*
It's easier to start, better on gas and you never have to mess with points.*
Motor has ZERO KM on it (odometer shows 9600 original KM)*
NOTE:*
please don't waste my time with e-mails asking if it's still availble or low ball offers.*
Asking 3500
