FS: 1985 Nighthawk S (750sc) **SOLD**
**SOLD** In very good condition and exceptionally clean. 56k.
I became enamored by this bike and bought it after reading about it in Cycleworld’s “365 motorcycles you must ride”.
It has a few cosmetic flaws that are easily remedied.
Whenever I take it to a bike night, it gets lots of attention (way more than my VFR – go figure).
Here’s the list of parts I’ve replaced and maintenance that I’ve done to the bike:
· Carburetors completely overhauled, cleaned, polished and synced (Compression measured as 150+ across all four cylinders)
· New spark plugs
· Replaced fork oil, seals and dust covers
· Re-greased Front wheel bearings
· new Rear wheel bearings
· new BT-45 rear tire (to go with nearly new BT-45 in front)
· new steering head bearings
· new SS brake lines front and rear
· lubed throttle and clutch cables
· New grips
· New levers
· New front brake master cylinder
· Cleaned Front brake calipers and rear brake drum (plenty left on pads)
· Oil pan was leaking (previous owner had over-tightened the oil pan screw), so I replaced it along with new gasket, crush washer and screw
· New front turn signals (I still have the originals)
· New gear oil, engine oil and filter prior to start up this spring
