In what was the motorcycle scam of 2020, Stuart Garner, the guy who conned his way into, and out of, owning Norton Motorcycles, was found guilty.
He swindled pensioners out of today's equivalent of 14 mil. GBP ($23 million Canadian). Some people lost their life savings and will never get it back.
Some motorcyclists put deposits down and some even paid in full for motorcycles that he didn't even have the parts on hand to produce because he wasn't paying his suppliers...

Naturally, he's been found guilty, but it's a white collar crime so he won't do any time.

If you have 8 minutes and you're interested in this sort of thing, please have a look and let me know your thoughts:

I don't know if jail is the best place for white collar criminals. I would have no problem making them perpetually destitute until they kill themselves though in cases like this. Remove their ability to own or have controlling interest in any possession. Hell, kick them out of the banking system so they have to live cash only. That will hurt them far more than luxury jail.

nah jail is the way to go.

Nothing straightens out rich princesses quite like gen pop.

It was a dispicable crime, like all other fraud cases, this one hit home because I did love the Marque. He should do some time and have some serious challenges going forward . Sadly I think he will do just fine because they never recover all the money....
