First beautiful day and someone hits my bike (happy ending)

Saturday morning around 11am I pull my bike out of my garage and walk it around to the front of my house, about 3 feet behind a black Jetta.

walk up onto my patio to grab my helmet and heard someone yelling. turn around to see the Jetta back into my bike and knock it over. Heart sinks.

he stops, gets out, apologizes, I pick the bike up and... Thank God for Frame Sliders. not a scratch on the tank.

clutch lever, mirror, and bar end are toast. and a small scratch on the passenger seat cover (touch up paint)

took it for estimate, $700. Guy sent me an email transfer same day. gotta respect that I suppose.

Hope you guys enjoyed the weather this weekend, I was stuck in my car.

and I guess, watch where you park? haha I don't know what the lesson is here. makes me nervous to think of parking downtown, I've definitely been closer to cars, this guy had to back up FEET to hit my duck.

Seems expensive for what is damaged (I guess the paint repair cost a fair bit.)
Glad you got it settled very easy though.

OEM Lever = $20
OEM Mirror = $70
Bar End = $10
Touch up seat cover = $600?

I guess a bit pricey for the clutch? it wasn't stock so he said he would quote me for a decent one and charge what it actually cost.

Ahh, forgot to add the Ducati premium. :D

Maybe look into getting a set of pazzo's to replace both sides for that price ;)

Glad it got fixed though.

don't kill me for not knowing this (I just got back into riding)

but I just googled "pazzo lever" and that's what I have, with the 6 point adjustment switch haha.
