A motorcyclist was killed as a result of a collision between a motorcycle and a small SUV at the intersection of Steeles Avenue East & Bluffwood Drive (Fairway Heights Drive on the north side) at about 5:30 PM Monday August 4th.
The motorcycle was proceeding westbound on Steeles Avenue, the small SUV was making a left hand turn to the north to enter Fairway Heights Drive. The collision was violent and the motorcyclist died at the scene.
The motorcyclist's helmet was found approximately 200 feet to the west of the accident site, it appears that the helmet came off the rider at the time of impact.
