If you're looking for a great cruise destination, make a day to join Toronto Outboard Racing Club(TORC), at the 2011 Ontario Powerboat Racing event in Gravenhurst June 25-26(Sat-Sun), at Gull Lake Park, 11-6pm daily. Admission is free!
TORC, in partnership with Tim Horton's as the title sponsor, has organised this event as the second race of four in Ontario, a fundraiser for Tim Horton's Children's Foundation, to help send kids to TH's camp near Parry Sound.
TORC's fastest show on water this year includes:
- Stock outboard class: hydroplanes, runabouts, up to 80mph
- T-class V-hulls: Voodoo's, Delta's, Critchfields, up to 65mph
- Drag class: STV, Allison, Hydrostream, over 100+mph
The Town of Gravenhurst, and District of Muskoka are gorgeous in the summer, and Gull Lake is ideal to see speed in action on the water.
Make this a great cruise, 1.5-2 hrs from GTA , this destination will meet everyones interests for fun and a great day.
