Even when they try to make parking they still do it wrong.

I rejected a parking spot this morning. This is at Oshawa GO. They have made lines to park 8 bikes there but really only 7 bikes can "legally" park. The problem with the 8th spot as I see it, bike rack on 1 side, no 1 foot or whatever of space between lines. Car doors and people run risk of knock-overs. This is not good design. Think it can be addressed? Even moving the bike rack 1 line over would be fine for me.

Need those concrete posts they have to protect the drive thru windows, put them along that yellow line and no worried about car doors or getting knocked over ;)

If you parked like the bike in the photo, there is more than enough room for the car driver to get out. If you nose-in, there is little chance of a knock over.

if you whine about it, they will hash the space and just call it 7 spaces.

Don't know how I feel about leaving a bike all day at a GO parking lot anyway.

Last time I checked they were stealing catalytic converters off cars

They got one off my Hyundai Accent. Pulling out of the lot "damn my muffler is loud, better get that looked at". Next day at the shop "Muffler is fine, you're missing your catalytic converter!"... you mean it fell off? Ummm, no. :(

They gave you a free muffler job. Cat delete.

And yeah, the GO lot in Burlington, they nailed 30 or 40 cars this summer.

It's not hard to figure out a pattern at a go station. bikes would be easy pickings there.
