Electrical work for bike

Hello All,

I have a GS500 which the previous owner had done some modifications on, specifically they changed the front and tail lights. The lights have started to lose connection and flicker while riding or go off completely.

I have never done any kind of electrical work and would like to have the issue fixed Specifically I would like to have the bike wired properly and have the original headlamp put back on (it currently has an aftermarket headlamp).

What would you guys estimate the cost of this work to be and would you know anyone in the Mississauga area who could do this properly?

Thanks for the help!

Cost depends on how badly the last guy messed up the wiring. If he didn't seal things properly, water can creep along the wire and cause corrosion far from where it was messed up.

As far as a recommended mechanic, Ken (Kneedragger88 ) is highly recommended, has worked on a ton of 500's, has reasonable rates and picks up/drops off your bike. Frekeyguy in brampton works out of his garage and has had good reviews (probably the cheapest as I think it is a hobby for him). Johnnyp636 has a shop in mississauga and people seem to be happy with his work too.
