Electrical contact cleaner

I have bought a can of Lloyds/Kleens It electrical contact cleaner from princess auto that I want to use on all the electrical plugs on my bike.
Have not used this yet as I am not sure if it will harm the paint or plastic electrical plugs.

Anyone here have experience with this stuff.
 
it's a flash-dry solvent

if you're careful where it goes should not be a problem
even if you get a bit somewhere you don't intend
it evaporates quicker than you can get a rag to wipe it off

a little dielectric grease after cleaning and you'll have a nice connection
