Ducati 620 dark

It's a US bike FYI.

It says it's never been dropped, but the brake lever is bent... If the owner can't come up with a good reason why, then who knows what else he is lying about.

Lever doesn't look bent to me maybe just the angle of pictures. Usually the lever will curl in when dropped

lever may not be bent, could be the spot the switchgear is tightened on the bars.
Its an ok bike and fair price, not complicated (by Ducati standards) , it will pull well for a 600 and the twin is torquey and fun to ride. That model monster has a really big turning radius, it takes some getting used to, lock to lock is a short trip. Its fuel injected so should start up very easily.

If he buys it he may want to look at a +1 frt spocket, its a very common first mod on those bikes and takes the lurching out of it in 1st gear idling in traffic.

Thanks for the reply. I dot think he will be too worried abou the sprocket. Just wanna make sure all the paper work etc is good and what too look for as it is a us bike.

Thanms again everyone

Yes, is there anything we should know when buying a us bike? Would you suggest to find something else
Nope, nothing really wrong with them at all. Some people think that they should be priced lower, so be aware of that if you go to sell it in the future. You probably won't be able to change the speedo from MPH and the water temp from fahrenheit but other than that it should be an awesome bike ;)

Awesome. Thanks everyone will post results if we do the treck to Windsor to see it!

Water temp in Fahrenheit? Isn't the bike air cooled?
I was speaking about general bikes from the USA, not his bike specifically ;)

Speedometer goes up to 160 mph. That is highly optimistic.

It has a digital temp gauge, even though its air cooled. It will say LO till your up to operating temp , then give specifics like "148". Dont wind hard on the throttle till its up to temp, the desmo valve thing doesnt like it.
The cluster is coded to the bike, changing the speedo means changing the whole cluster, something like 1k used. Speedo healer wont help. All part of the disabler system built in, it's the flashing led you'll see right after shutting the bike off.
It's a tall geared 6sd bike and seeing 120mph is doable, 63hp out of the box.

There is a 620 sitting in my shed, its not the best bike, but its red and Italian.
