Court Dismissed Ticket

I got a ticket in October, 2020 and repeatedly it has been put over until a future date but, not by my request. Anyway fast forward to February 2023 and I received an email from the court saying it has been dismissed. I guess it has taken too long to come to court? Anybody else have their ticket tossed?

Does the email contain any specifics about the original ticket/case?
Or is it a generic email?

I would call the court and have them confirm this and see if they can sent a letter by mail.
