Chrome on the Canal 2014

The is the second time in 3 (?) weeks I've done this. Decided randomly to go to a destination, and when I get there - bike event in full swing!

Went to Campbellford today and landed smack-dab in the middle of Chrome on the Canal 2014 (http://www.visittrenthills.ca/chromeonthecanal.html).

Saw hundreds of classic cars and even more bikes! Wish I knew about it before I got there, as I would have planned my day a little differently. Nice roads in the area and great day for a ride. Campbellford is a really nice looking little town.

That's funny cause when I read in another area on the site that you'd decided to head out alone I was going to mention that there might be an extra few thousand people there. Being in Port Hope/Cobourg wifey and I head out that way weeknights for cruises. also at the Timmies/Cdn tire every thursday night there's prolly 100-200 bikes show up. Great roads around the whole area,not too busy either.
