I like it. For gravel travellers it’s perfect. Where I’m staying 90% of the roads are unpaved, not suitable for cruisers or sport bikes. ADVs and dual sports - OK.

A lot of older riders have to stay on asphalt, this opens gravel travel to those folks. I’m not there yet… but the day will come for all of us.

Funny thing is I was having that conversation the other day about going 3wheels when the day comes

I think they'll sell, but I think that the lousy ground clearance will be a huge issue when people actually take them offroad into any sort of challenging terrain. I'd expect to start seeing aftermarket lift kits and farkles for these very quickly.

Belt drive seems like a questionable choice for offroad however - that belt and pulley is going to eat a lot of rocks which sometimes doesn't play nice with belts and pulleys.

No different then the majority of pickup trucks, off road motorcycles, dual sport and adventure bikes...

How many actually go off the beaten path and explore?

Watched my dad get cancer at 49, and pass away at 53. It taught me a lot of things. One of them was not to wait for fun.



I'm with @xrljoel - I'll take a Miata. I'll even take a convertible Volkswagen Beetle over that thing.

Hopefully gyroscopic technology will be advanced enough in the future to allow me to stay on two wheels when age and infirmity argue otherwise...

Yep, I remember seeing these demos a few years back. Gyroscopes. Never made it into a production bike but the technology exists.
