What kind of milage should a bike get out of pads? I know this is subjective depending on the brand/quality of pads. how hard the riding/braking is

If you use engine braking you should be getting a good 50,000km out of the brakes on most sport bikes.

Unless you're braking really late at speed, then even with engine braking to assist, more like 10,000km.
