Almost hilarious parody ... "lady driven" one owner and in this case it is true. $4900 asking and that is an all in price in Australia.Screen Shot 2025-09-23 at Sep, 23 2025 11.19.08 PM.jpg
BMW F700 GS 2014 – Factory Lowered, Full BMW Service, Clean Touring History, Excellent Condition! For sale is my much-loved 2014 BMW F700 GS, factory lowered and with a lower seat—absolutely ideal for anyone on the shorter side or looking for a bike that inspires confidence at a standstill. If you’re after genuine adventure bike DNA, but need manageable stand-over height, this is the perfect opportunity! One of a kind history: This F700 GS was owned for 10 years by a careful lady rider in her 70s, used almost exclusively for gentle touring with her husband, and never thrashed. Full BMW service history at Morgan & Wacker (QLD’s leading BMW motorcycle dealer), with major steering main bearing service done at 108,000km.Current odometer: 115,000km, though it’s been babied and has the mechanical condition of a far lower-mileage commuter (around 30,000km worth of real-world wear!).
With full service records and nice accessories I'd not hesitate for a second ...I bought a Vstrom 650 with 99,000 km on it for $3k certified with immaculate service, factory luggage and it was better than the same model I had previously with half the KM.
Rode it for a year - put 20k km trouble free km on it and sold for $3k.

With the service records and obvious condition I think it's a deal for him.
Thoughts?

High mileage BMW? Bring More Wallet!
Just my 2 cents

Can't see if full service records are available that "lot of attention" is likely and roadworthy ( safety ) covers the basics.
The 700 is a detuned 800 so that's plus for long lasting twin and it's nicely appointed ...appears never taken off road.
Hoping to get some BMW owner feedback. 🍿
Maybe should pose the question on ADV forum.

Ummm no. Again personal experience - not hearsay, You clearly don't qualify as a BMW fan boi Adri.

Two BMWs on two different continents at the same time still not enough to be a BMW fan boi? Bummer. I'll have to buy a third one and ship it to Australia lol

Here is my BMW G650GS, Giessina, and I, somewhere outside of Rome, along with my ripped up, knock off, "Icon" gloves from aliexpress.

F700GS always commanded a premium over the F650GS twins because of the extra disk brake, some of them having electronically adjustable suspension, and later on, some of them even having ride modes. Obviously this particular seller has drank way too much BMW Kool-Aid and is hoping for a buyer in a similar position.

I sold my old F700GS to a farmer who raises chickens from Swiss Chalet, that was pretty cool. Great motorcycle from a practical point of view. But **** me, character was as bland as white paint with no gloss.

I owned a F700GS, toured all over Africa for a couple of years on it. Was a 2013, same colour as the one above. LOL, looks like same windshield extension as well!

The F parallel twin engines are pretty reliable. Neda had one of the early ones, a F650GS twin, put 150,000 kms on it, we sold it (gave it away) to one of our friends in town, five years later, he still rides it. Just needs all the regular maintenance stuff. Stator overheating is a common issue, there's a new BMW part that supercedes the old one with better venting. IIRC, a 2014 model might have that issue sorted from the factory already.

Pricing is so regional-specific. You'd have to look at what others in the area are selling for. I know countries like Oz (as with South Africa) have huge tariffs placed on foreign vehicles, so what we'd pay here in North America would probably be cheaper than what you'd pay over there.

But reliability-wise, the F700GS would not be a bad choice. Agree with @adri, the bike is a bit bland. I regretted not buying a R1200GS instead, thinking the F would be more manageable. I would have been fine on the R12, and it would have been more fun. That's just me, though.

YMMV depending on what you are personally looking for in a bike.
