lol....sounds like more of a war on bike GANGS....not a war on bikes like the general population uses them- for recreation....

...and they laughed at me for my buttless chaps...who's laughing now?

It's not a war against bikers, it's a war against losers.

Good. People want to behave like barbarians then they should be treated as such.

Sent from my piss poor iPhone while sitting on my squidly gixxxxxxxxer sippin on kool aid

That all depends on what their laws say qualify as "gang activities". If it includes group rides, that can include people not in gangs too... Then again, that also depends entirely on how it's enforced too.

Not all motorcycle club members are losers. I am yet to meet one who was not a good guy. Sure a few cause problems and those are the ones that deserve what they get.

Have you looked at their time lines? It's like reading an action movie script!

oh save the libertarian "slippery slope argument". As long as your group ride doesn't deal drugs or turn teenagers into prostitutes, you'll be fine.

What? These are organized crime operations dealing in the lowest forms of crime. Where do you get your insight to biker gangs, "Sons of Anarchy"?

Heh nice to see. Im actually from the gold coast and well aware of the bike gangs there (had friends that joined). Back 15 years or so, all the bike gangs were underground and you would never see any of the "criminal" world unless you were a part of it. Then South Australia banned club houses and actually bulldozed every one in the State which led to a huge influx of bikies and bike gangs heading to other states. To get a foot hold the new gangs would have to merge with existing ones or fight for territory. The fighting has gotten to a point that the public are just ****** and sick of seeing it. Hopefully the new prison and laws have the gangs making a huge exodus from the state.

It isn't that simple. If their houses are bulldozed and they are forbidden from wearing their colours they don't just give up and go apply for jobs at the bank..

You would be surprised at their mentality. The main reason people join is for the feeling of belonging. With no clubhouse and no wearing of patches that all disappears. They may not go back to being model citizens but thats what the 23hrs in a prison cell and no tv/gym is for.

I wasn't trying to imply that, or that riders have magic pixie wands, waving them at people, making them addicts and prostitutes.

One can only dream that our politicians move at the pace theirs does. I vote for implementing the same across the entire Commonwealth :)
