Bicycle Jackets/Pants for M/C?

After some previous comments regarding wicking undergarments (polypropelene) for hot weather riding I'm wondering about using a bicycle jacket under vented M/C jackets. These jackets are thin and have a leaning forward cut. I'd guess these jackets have high tech materials for warmth and sweat dissipation. Could be removed and easily stored as temps rise during the day.
Anybody do this?

That's something to consider if I want to feel like a sausage;)

I wear bicycle shorts with built in padding under my riding pants, but only for long distance rides. Comfy!

Nike/UA Compression gear is a must for summer riding imo. Under perforated leather you're golden

I am confused by this comment.

I've worn the under armour type gear. I find it very clingy akin to sausage skin.

I'm looking for a garment that protects around the neck and is cut for a forward cant. And thin enough to fit under slim fitting hot weather ballistic m/c jacket.

lol I know what you mean, it does feel clingy, but it's supposed to. For it to do its job correctly and regulate your body temp and wick away sweat it needs to be like a second skin.

I am sure you could wear a light bicycle jacket underneath, but it won't be anywhere near as effective, and you could notice sweat buildup in areas where the jacket doesn't form fit to the body. Also depending on the material it could trap heat making the experience worse rather than better, but I've never tried it so I can't say for certain
