Anyone have a 2000-2024 S1000R - dynamic suspension question.

I feel like i'm going insane. I have had the bike for a few month and whenever i tried to change from single rider to passenger i would get a warning saying i can only change it while stopped. Recently that warning went away and i thought something might be wrong with the suspension so i brought it to the dealer. They claim everything is fine and that my bike doesnt have dynamic preload only dampaning. I thought single rider to pasanger changes the preload.

If you have this bike, please for the love of god try changing from single rider to passanger while riding and tell me if it changes or you get the waring message.

Single rider/2up/2up with luggage were all options from what I recall. I was pretty sure it affected preload. Have you looked at your owner's manual yet?

I have a 2018. I can hold the suspension button down while riding to change from 1 helmet to 2 helmets. I don't need to be stopped.
