You couldn't find a less wanted vehicle?
They're practically impossible to find used and if you do, you won't be getting anywhere near the real wholesale value.
You can thank all the African/Middle-Eastern shippers for that, they pay TOP dollar, very close to retail prices!

Thanks for that, was wondering why they are so over-priced as they look kind of dated. What's the need for them overseas?

Toyota has been very popular in the Middle East and Africa for as long as I could remember.
They're known to be reliable/durable/cheap to fix, etc.
The mileage doesn't really matter over there, as long as the car looks and drives well, there will be no problems moving it.
Another reason the shippers are killing the market, they will pay the same price for a car with 250 or 150 KLMs.
Of course they try to use the mileage as a tool to negotiate, but when you deal with so many of them, you can see through the BS.

No word of a lie, I sold a 2001 RAV4 with 400,000 KM's for 4300$ and the car needed some repairs.
It came to the point where they just buy the cars over the phone so business must be good.
