Another winterizing question - drain carbs or stabilize fuel and fill tank?

stabilizer in cold weather storage has more to do with condensation than beakdown
temp swings from night to day will cause the gas to expand-contract

as the temp drops and the gas contracts the tank takes a sniff of that damp air
repeat this 150 times and there's a lot of humidity exposure

the stabilizer makes the gas less hygoscopic
ethanol gas is the biggest concern, the alcohol in it is highly hygroscopic

no eth and some stab = no starting problems in spring
