Air conditioning for a motorcycle?!!?

it looks like it's just a bucket of ice and then tubes of water with a pump. you could build that with a 12v pump from active surplus ($11) tubing from rona, and sew the tubes onto something like a vest or even your liner.
wandering around with ice and buying new ice.. just seems like too much effort.

the evaporative vests are $35 and you just need to soak them in water.

I have always had NWA60 air conditioning on my bike. Well I guess in metric now it's NWA100.

And something called a core cooler from an offroad store for when it gets blistering.

I just hope that thing breaks loose from the bike if you take a fall, other wise is draggin' time!

With the way the weather in the summers seems to keep vetting more "tropical" if you will a cooling system is going to be a must. Whoever invents a extremely convenient system is going to make a killing.

I actually suggested this as an obvious joke to a friend the other day, half-thinking it may actually be a good idea!

What if we started riding in big air-conditioned hamster balls?

If your going to add cooling for motorcycle riding, why do it with a vest that is already incredibly open? I get this more if it were a full jacket, especially on the hot days, thats when people would love to use it. Fully protected in the hot hot weather while still staying cool.

Sorry to disappoint but hamsters don't have big balls.

I usually just toss my jacket/gloves in the freezer for an hour before I go for a ride...

I just dump half a water bottle into my jacket, soaking my t-shirt, every hour. Plus I've got a mesh jacket. Even in 30 degree heat it feels really cold at speed.
