Advise for a Cruiser

VTX 1300 is a very well-received bike. I put it on-par with but perhaps not quite as much pull as my Star 1300. However, the 1800 is, in this reviewers opinion, not as good. Side-by-side they look similar, the spec sheet reads somewhat equally, but the 1800 was a little on the unmanageable side. I'm sure with more time in the saddle you'd get used to anything, but I never quite overcame its "bulky" feeling whereas the 1300 felt nimble.

And yes, I believe a 12-1500 would suffice. Bigger frames once you get up into the class.

I not into top speed runs anyway so if 120 -130 is the top end on the hwy, If the bike can run at these speeds for long day runs I would be happy.
Is a 1200-1500 cc v twin sufficient hauling my 220-230 butt around?

I can tell you even though my VT1300 Interstate was fully loaded with stuff for my xcountry ride last year, with my weight must have been over 230lbs, this bike likes to cruise at 130kph. Top end for me was well above this mark :D.

Buy a used Valkryie.

What you really need is a Harley V Rod, Night Rod or Muscle.

110 rear wheel horsepower. Lots of aftermarket options and accessories.

It makes quick waste of all the other power cruisers out there...
