2014 track day schedule

Does any of the track day sponsers, tracks or promoters have any of the 2014 schedules up yet? I am looking for tracks East of Toronto if possible. As I am working on my personal schedule, teaching dates etc. I am trying to find a date or two that coincide with my teaching to help conserve funds. Any help here?

I haven't seen any yet. Usually they have them ready by the December show, but that show date moved to February for some reason. I guess just keep your eyes on Pro6 and Rider's Choice sites for Shanny and 'bogie days.

What tracks are the closest to Kingston, and what tracks are the best?

Shannonville is closest. Best is subjective. I really like Shanny, but haven't been to Calabogie, one that most people seem to like the best.
Calabogy would be fairly close as well

Calabogie is the best, but with all the corners and all the elevation changes it is tough to teach there. It can be done, but it's tricky.

Pro 6 usually has their schedule by end of November and I saw the RC dates mid December last year.

Shanny apparently got a bit of a makeover as far as surfaces go. That's good news.

Not looking to teach at the track, I am just looking for a good track that I can work to schedule a day at either on my way to or from Toronto (From Watertown NY) If I can do this than I can save the extra costs of making an extra trip to get to a track day. All I will need is the cost of the track day and the extra day from work.

I also plan on taking a friday or two (On my way to Toronto) to take the Dirt bike to the ganaraska forest. Had a great time doing that this year as well!

Then Shannonville is a good one. 15 minutes off the 401. Although if you're already driving that much then what's a few more hours up to Calabogie. haha

Ganny is awesome too! I got up there 6 or 7 times this year. Was hoping to get up there in October or November but all the rain and cold temps kinda ruined that for me.

pro 6 will not release there 2014 scheduale untill the bike show, acording to there web site."we want to give visitors to the show 1st chance" WTF shouldn't the registerd users get first crack at track time ????? WTF

That's what they always do. You still have to be registered with them to sign up, even at the show. The thing that sucks is the show isn't in December this year...

I'm working on firming our dates with Calabogie, CTMP and Shannonville as we speak. Goal is to have our (Pro6) schedule ready by December 1st with booking starting shortly after. Without the show in December this year, we will be doing booking online and in person at the shop in Etobicoke with the same discounts that would have been available at the show, if it was happening. We may even do an open house at Pro6 so you can book in person, have something to eat, and get your free swag for booking. Keep an eye on our website, FB, Twitter for updates. And as always, email me at TrackdaysATpro6cycle.com with any questions.
I'm as eager as you guys!

Tremblant is a private track for lack of a better word. I believe you have to be part of the TBSC to get an invite to the trackdays. Or be invited by a member. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I know some members and wanna go try it, but haven't found a good set of days. Hopefully this year.

Just read the above post. CTMP comment makes me smile huge. I've got my fingers crossed

That's great, Sheena! Thanks for the update.

I didn't see any track days for this season... maybe I am looking in the wrong area?

The track deserves respect. Turn 1 specifically. My advice would be to play it very safe through turn 1 and enjoy the resr of the track.

Free food at the open house??
I would like to sign up now to reserve my grid spot closest to the nom noms.
