One person seriously injured in motorcycle accident

One person has been rushed to hospital via emergency run after a motorcycle accident in Scarborough.

It happened at around 10:40 a.m. near Midland and Finch avenues.

The nature of the victim's injuries are not known, but the victim was transported CTAS 1, which is generally reserved for life-threatening injuries.

I drove by this one today. From a distance, looked like a blue sport bike of some sort. From the way the cars were positioned, it looked like yet another car left-turning into a plaza smoking an oncoming biker (I could be wrong though..) . A lot of police officers on scene. It looked like almost 10 squad cars or something like that.

I really hope this rider gets well soon.
 
This one is close by my area and I do pass by that area a lot. Get well soon.
 
This is my friend's friend. She told me his jaw is broken in 4 places, a fracture in his neck and fracture in his spine. He's currently at Sunnybrook. That's all the details I was given.
 
GWS Rider. Hopefully recovery will be quick and as complete as possible under the circumstances.
