Up for sale is my 2004 Suzuki GS500F blue sport touring motorcycle. The motorcycle currently has 24100 km on it. I put 24200, because I am still riding it. I finally decided to upgrade to a bigger semi-sport touring bike (Honda F4i). The bike rides perfectly and has no problems.

This bike is one of the best, if not the best, beginners bike. It's 500cc, so you will not outgrow it in one summer like Kawasaki Ninja 250R or Honda CBR125. In my opinion, it also looks much better than its competitor - Kawasaki Ninja 500R.

This motorcycle is very forgiving, so it is perfect for the beginner. I bought it with 20300 on the odometer, so I put 4000 km in 1.5 seasons. The bike is very comfortable - seating position and the seat itself. I go on 4-5-hour long rides and I do not feel tired (all my friends on their SS bikes are crying about their wrists and backs at this point).

The insurance on this motorcycle is very cheap, being the beginner bike and considered sport touring, not super sport. I am paying $77 per month right now (1.5 years experience, M2), and it will go down to $50 per month in August (I will be 30 then).

The following extras were installed on the motorcycle in the spring of last year:
- Front and Rear Michelin Pilot Activ tires. Much better tires than original Bridgestone tires, and more expensive too.
- Yuasa battery.
- EBC brake pads - front and rear.
- Puig dark-smoke double-bubble windscreen. Double-bubble made a huge difference to me on the highway - now the wind does not hit me in the chest, but instead blows over the helmet. The original windscreen is included too.
- OEM Suzuki air filter.
- Replaced white rear fairings (frame covers) with blue from 2005 motorcycle. Now the motorcycle is completely blue, not weird blue and white paint scheme. I will include the original white frame covers too, if you want to swap back.
- Mirror extenders. Now I can see what's going on behind me, not just my elbows in the mirrors!
- NGK spark plugs.

The motorcycle has never been in the accident. It was laid down in the driveway once, I was taking it off the center stand and couldn't hold it :(. The right fairing and the exhaust can have some scratches on them - no cracks or breaks, everything looks very presentable. There are also several small dings on the tank - the previous owner had his jacket's zipper lock ding on the tank during rides - nothing serious, but I'd like to make sure that it's disclosed.

I used Motul 5100 semi-synthetic oil and OEM Suzuki oil filters in the bike, and yes, I did change the oil last fall, even after riding only just over 3000 km that summer.

My asking price is $SOLD (I will accept a reasonable offer, as I am motivated to sell). Bike will (obviously) come with a UVIP and will be safetied (bike needs NOTHING to be safetied, it's in perfect working order) - I have several motorcycle stores in my area if the buyer wants to pick a shop to get the safety done - Rosey Toes, Parker Bros, Pro6, Riders Choice, etc.

Bike is located in Etobicoke, close to Martingrove and Eglinton.

Please respond with your phone number if you're serious. Thank you!!
