2000 Ninja 250 Sprocket Change

Don't look at me for body armour advice I wear a onesie with cotton knee pads, boots, gloves and an open face helmet, that's it, although starting this year I use a back protector and I have a dead man tether kill switch, you might want one of those. Shuts the bike down when you bail or rag doll over the handlebars.

great reply w your experience for the 250 ninja !
kind of surprised me that you were able get a higher top speed with the increased revs.

I would run out of power before It would pull the whole gear, now it pulls all the way to redline. If I went with a 47 tooth rear I could probably get a couple more kph out of it. I’m very happy with what I have, I modded the front forks to accept the internals of a zx6r, and gsxr1000 shock out back.. clip-ons, and rear sets to get the ergonomics a little more sporty, the bike is a ton of fun.
It would be nice if there was an experienced rider who rides a 250 to take my bike for a spin, and let me know what they think of all the work I have done.. hard to remember what it felt like stock.
