Where to find Crash/Freeway bars for naked bike, or Custom?

Thanks for the very well written reply. Yes , it seems that this will be hard to accomplish and needs to be researched more. Will look at what stunt cages look like. Maybe I can find someone who customizes them. Something like the loop with a support or two, powdered coated black , would...

Where to find Crash/Freeway bars for naked bike, or Custom?

Good questions! Crash protection is what I would like it for , everything else is secondary. Yes , some will argue it’s not a good idea , and some will swear by it saving them from more harm. From what I can see , they are not made for bikes which are not cruisers. Probably have to go custom !

Where to find Crash/Freeway bars for naked bike, or Custom?

Yes , looked on there. No crash bars for my bike , not even engine guards.

Where to find Crash/Freeway bars for naked bike, or Custom?

I have a Honda CB300F and looking for crash/freeway bars for it , but can’t find them anywhere. I found engine guards , but I’m looking for the bars that go way out wide. Don’t mind having them made custom either. Feel free to tell me why they’re a bad idea , or it looks ugly , or whatever.

Can someone please explain what this means ?

When I passed my course , I couldn’t get to the drive test Center to update it till later. My M1 expired by 1 day when I went , and I fully expected to have to do the written exam for the M1 again. The person said that as long as I passed the M1 exit before the M1 expired I should be good to...

Looking for someone close to Scarborough to change grips

I’m looking for someone near East Scarborough to change original grips to heated grips. Does not have to be a shop , someone who works at home is okay too. Did a search and know about local shops around me , looking to see if there is someone who does good work near me.

Need info from a CB300 owner (measurement)

Its about 200km away , roughly 2 hour drive with good traffic. I myself have just passed a motorcycle course with no other riding experience. Couldn’t pay me enough to ride back. Lol

Need info from a CB300 owner (measurement)

Thanks for the replies. It is a CB300F. Technically it should fit , according to specs . I was thinking of backing it up thru the side sliding door. I have a 6’ folding wheelchair ramp which I could hopefully take apart lengthwise as it’s too wide as it is. If I buy the bike , probably will...

Need info from a CB300 owner (measurement)

I’m looking at a CB300 and if buying it , I’m tempted to load it into my minivan. I checked online and it says it is 44“ tall. Is that the actual height which can’t be changed? The sliding door opening is 43 3/4” - 44 1/2” tall. Thanks! UPDATE: Decided to have a hitch installed and rent a...

    Haggling on used motorcycles

I see here that some people don’t like potential buyers asking about reducing a price before going out to see it. My take on that is , I either ask before going to see it , or accept the price and then go see it. Setting up a meeting at full asking price and then haggling when there is rude imo...

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

I know. But you can leave old plates on. Know of an instance where car was sold and plate got left on , old owner didn’t care , new owner got car for rebuild so didn’t need new plates on at that time.

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Thanks , I didn’t think of that. My drop on the left was literally , just laying it down , slow speed turning and got unbalanced , and couldn’t hold it upright. Wasn’t my finest moment but wasn’t my worst either.

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Yep , it looks like it was laid down. I myself laid down a bike during my course , which resulted in a bent shifter lever , which they then bent back out with hand. Price is probably cheaper then others as it is farther away from toronto , have to figure transport costs too. Thanks for the reply!
