Well, I guess that's confirmed.
I thought fuel was expensive but the insurance on the second bike for me would be roughly $4 per km...Wow...
Thanks everyone.
I'm currently insured with Desjardins (have been for almost a decade) for my motorcycle and I thought about adding another bike to my policy. I'm the only rider in my household and the second bike would literally only be ridden a handful of times a season by myself only.
I figured adding a...
This is why I'm considering changing the ownership to "unfit", not a branded ownership...Just unfit.
I'm thinking this would allow me to sell as a 'showpiece" of sorts and put any and all responsibility of making it street legal (and getting insurance) on the prospective buyer.
Basically I...
Yes, it's a rigid which is why I want full disclosure for new buyer and not lead them on to thinking they can squeak it by a cert by bolting on a fender and moving things around.
Thanks for all the responses!
The bike is not going to fetch top dollar as a rigid bobber and I'm aware of that. It wasn't a flip I planned on profiting from, just a cool little project I had fun working on and riding around a bit.
I do not want to sell the bike certified because although it...
Hello all.
Just looking to get some feedback.
I'll be selling a pretty cool little custom bobber next season as I just don't ride it anymore. It's a Japanese cruiser with a clean title/ownership.
I will NOT be providing a safety certificate for the seller and won't advertise as such.
Because...
I purchased the supercrosslive.tv package which is essentially the only option for Canadian viewers . I don't have the patience or knowledge to deal with all these "VPNs" or pirated streams. I also prefer to watch live so waiting for the next day is not an option.
Everyone complains about the...
I agree with above regarding yesterday.
I actually found the single track to be quite fun. It was best if no one had touched the trail at all yet. The more traffic the trail got, the worst they were.
Might have to put the studded tires on for the last day of the Ganny this Friday.
There's quite a bit of snow in there right now but still plenty of traction underneath! Just have to slow down a bit. The Southwestern single track trails stay pretty dry so ice shouldnt be too much of an issue.
If you can keep your hands and feet somewhat warm you'll be fine. Some neoprene...
Sorry for the shameless plug but I just wrote on this topic. http://hoodsmoto.com/2018/09/18/riding-dirt-bikes-after-having-kids-part-1/ Kids will not keep you from riding if you have a game plan.
No time to ride is just that...an excuse. It most often just means they've just lost interest or...
I wouldn't rule out getting a new bike. Especially if your wife is giving you the green light! Dropping it and scratching it should not be a concern like it is with our street bikes. These are dirt bikes and made to take a lot of abuse right out of the box.
If you're sticking to a 5k budget...
