Nope, not me. My boy's still in the middle of Rep hockey tryouts, so I'll still be hanging-out inside the big refrigerator, for a while. Take 'er easy out there guys: Warmers or not, it's gonna be a pretty cold track out there. Any heat you gain in the pit is gonna be lost within a lap or two...

Nice ... Yep, turn 1 on a CBR250R is definitely balls-out in top gear; in dry and warm conditions on warmed-up tires. Lift and drive-hard in top (or down one cog and v-high revs) through the 2 corners following the back-straight, too.

Thanks gents, interesting reading. I'm riding a CBR250 now and find the section from turn-in for 3, through 4 to exit from 5 (on Shanny-Pro) the most difficult part of the lap. I know I lose a ****-load of time through there. Gonna try and take your comments on-board :-)

Yep, both 300 Prod and Ltwt. Prod are where I'll be racing, on my CBR250 .... Possibility of plenty of "races within races," this year.

I started racing by doing a couple of RACE events last season, at the ripe old age of 47. I'll be giving 'er a go and riding in the RACE Super Series again this year, on a CBR250. I agree; having rode and tracked 600, 900 and 1000cc machines over the past 30-odd years: The fun-level...
