Night time riding? What is the really hazard?

if you are riding rural roads, be careful of loose gravel around corners, very difficult to see at night. I work until midnight and have gotten caught in a skid a few times due to gravel around the corners. Also hit a Racoon a few weeks ago.

    Building a custom chopper?

thanks, for the replies, I was looking a lot at the rolling chassis, as they seem to be between 5 and 6K, which would eliminate a whole lot work making sure the parts work together. But, maybe i'm just dreaming a little to much, maybe i'l stick with my Ducati for an extra year or so and save...

Anyone ridden the 821 Monster and fz09?

No denying the FZ has insane power, i just find that the way the Ducati delivers the power to be more entertaining, although i might be a little bias since i have a Monster 1100.

Anyone ridden the 821 Monster and fz09?

I find the Ducati to be a more enjoyable ride, they are however terribly expensive to maintain, brutal (in a good way) power delivery and are horrendous on fuel. The Fz-09 is a great bike, will be more reliable, IMO less comfortable (I have a strange build) and probably a better daily ride. Also...

    Women in motorcycling

I agree entirely, unfortunately we live in a modern liberal world where everything needs to be either sexually ambiguous or designed specifically for women. Men are trash in modern society. give it a few years and they will start going on about bikes not being designed for transgender folk.

    Good Insurance company for M2

yes and no, They require a full M and over 30, unless you have had insurance with them in the past(that has not been revoked). they wont touch SS unless you bring over your house and car. I kinda lucked out since i already had my truck with them. So M2 and not SS is ok. they have by a very large...

looking at a new naked bike for the spring

I have yet to try the FZ-09(still waiting for brant motorcycle to call me back) but have sat on them. they feel narrower then the FZ8, and i'm kinda fat so a wider feeling bike is what i'm after. The Ducati feels wide to me and love it, that's why it's currently in first place. skinny bikes...
