i've had my bike for about 2 years now. I've also had a rear stand for about 2 years now. currently unemployed living the bum life, so I cant justify buying a front stand.

tire change "on the bike" is about 200 + tax. a friend of mine works at a bike shop, and is willing to swap the tires for me in his spare time as long as i can get the wheels off to him. I also dont ride enough to need multiple tire changes so i cant justify the cost of buying a front stand.

anyone near the markham and sheppard area have a front stand i could borrow? Would just need for 2 days. Need it to get front tire changed on my ninja. I can/will pick up and drop it back off.

I saw the vids about abs and acetone. I didn't have the time to buy/make that stuff. Found an epoxy putty by jbweld. I used that to form a new tab on there. so far, its worked out fine (took 2 tries). although i could have done a better job at shaping it on the first time.

from my understanding its abs. I will have to double check it tomorrow. Also i have no experience with abs welding.

I removed my front fairing today and found one of the tabs that holds the bottom radiator plastic was broken. I dont have the missing piece to be able to weld it together. Is it possible to use JBWeld Plastic Bonder(the one i saw says its an "Adhesive, Filler and sealer") to create a new tab? Or...

I took off the wheel, and removed the speedo cable and tried fitting the speedo from different rotations. It fit the same way as in my previous picture. i torqued it down to 65 ft.lbs and did a test drive. it seems fine to me. Thanks for all the help.

right side spacer is correct. I currently have it torqued to 64 ft.lbs and the tire does spin freely. I'm going to redo it and this time, i'll take off the speedo cable so i can fit the speedo properly. Thanks for the pics taximan. those are really helpful.
