Getting motorcycle insurance for younger riders in this province is ridiculous. It's no wonder that a lot of young riders tend to ride without insurance and have to pull schemes because of insanely inflated rates.

Well I was included into my dad's policy with statefarm and the bike was registered under me. SO im not sure about that.

Its not so easy because I was with statefarm and their rates jumped up like crazy so I now have to switch companies.

Well I had insurance on my old bike and I am going to use that policy number to get the bike to my place. And then I will put new insurance on this bike. I just want legitimate plates so that I can ride the bike to my house.

i understand he would be extremely screwed if he got into an accident but he was so confident the police wouldnt call to check if the slip was valid? Is it protocol for them to call and verify if the insurance is legitimate or do they usually just look at the slip?
