I think its funny how some of you get SOOO upset, and almost take this as a personal-blow. You act like these guys did this to personally offend you, and it was your children who "almost got hit". YES these guys are idiots, and YES they broke the law. This is nothing new. Its human nature to...
I love reading these threads "a 600 is all you will ever need, and most people can't ride 1000's to their potential anyway". If that is the case, then why do people buy Corvette's, Vipers, or other super cars when most people can't drive a V6 mustang to its potential? Its because they are...
His insurance premiums are paid as part of his salary and his family WILL be taken care of well. I can't speak for Police (although I assume they are the same), I'm Fire and I am covered both to AND home from work. If I get into a car accident while on way home from work (lets also consider...
It WONT happen!!!! We hear this type of hype every time they plan a new release. I have the new S1000 and NO WAY does the 1199 have 200hp at the wheel because 2 of my buds have them and my bike makes more power and is GONE at every single RPM we try at. This is all just "dreams" we are reading...
I've lent out my bike many times to friends, and often for a week or so. I've never had any issues, and even when I called my insurance company (state farm), they told me it was fine as long as he is a licensed driver. They did say that "when you lend out your bike you lend out your insurance...
I take out and deposit money from my TD account all the time for more than $10,000 and never have had to answer any questions or do any paperwork at all. I am not a business owner and I am just a regular "Joe-blow". I wonder if it is bank specific??
Looking for a good street bike or track bike. I already have a new S1000 but would love to have another street bike or track bike. As ad says, I would also trade for decent ATV or boat.

Anyone on here taking their bikes to Shannonville drag-races tonight? A bunch of us are leaving Cobourg around 5 to ride bikes down. Some are going to just ride down and watch, while some of us are going to run our bikes. Just curious if from this forum goes to races???
Am I missing something here?????? This dent was in PLAIN VIEW for anyone to see. I agree it sucks, but that is the ENTIRE REASON the "buyer beware" clause exists. Its not like the seller had a knocking engine that he hid with heavy oil, or he claimed the bike has never been down and then later...
great advice. :) What you call "bluffing", the Police and Courts call a criminal offense. You can't just threaten people. Regardless, it worked for you, so it must work right? I won't even get into the whole "there are some people out there ya just might not want to threaten" thing because...
Again, I am NOT the guy who sold him this bike. If at anytime ANYONE doubts this, please private message me and I will give you my personal phone number to call and you will see I'm not. As for your advice to this guy, it just goes to show how "educated" you are with Civil Law and you are just...
This "newbike" guy is for sure the seller of the bike. Dude, just give him back $2,000 and call it a day.
LOL, WHAT???? I'm the guy that sold him this bike???? Dude, I'm a 37 yr old firefighter/Paramedic who lives in Cobourg and I ride a 2013 BMR S1000rr. I don't even know who this guy...
I'd have no problem at all riding that bike with that frame. I'd inspect all around that weld that is right next to it to make sure it doesn't have any cracks, but I'd bet anything that the frame is still strong and good to ride.
PS. you should have done your due-diligence with respect to this damage BEFORE handing over the money. I'm sure the frame is still very strong and will ride just fine. Might be time to scuff the frame up, fill it with whatever fill you can, and then break out the ever so famous stickers on each...
TRUST ME, TRUST ME, TRUST ME when I give this advice (I have a TON of experience in this field). Do NOT take him to small claims court. It wouldn't cost you much to file your claim, but I assure you that you will not win and you will then be assessed his costs as well. If it was my bike, I...
I did it last year and got caught. I have a completely clean record (at that time), and a 37 yr old man, and was just being an idiot and thinking "it will just be a quick run home". It ended up costing me $125 for "using unattached plate", and $6200 for no insurance. It was $5000 for no...
