Underground garage door opening strips, the scooter can't switch them on

There has to be a manual switch or button to press. I had the same issue in a building. The button was right on the motor to open the door, could stop directly under it so I didn't need to get off the bike.

    Riding local = safer

I'm with you on that for sure. I wear jeans. But that's a whole other thread. :)

    Riding local = safer

All be it a delusional idea of safety which is perhaps deterring him from gaining practical experience which would contribute much more to actual safety. If you're riding scared you're not safe.

    Riding local = safer

I guess I was trying to saying it's not a machine in the class of recreational vehicle like an ATV or whatnot. I can see how my saying "not to be used for fun" was misleading.

    Riding local = safer

I don't get any of this. Either you ride a bike or you don't. It's not a jet ski or a boat or a snowmobile. It should not be used as some sort of toy to ride on for fun. I feel the same about cars. You have a license, you can drive all vehicles within that class at any time on any road in any...

    chilly morning

Funny watching you put your gloves on. You're like jacket on, helmet on, bike on, right glove wiggle stretch pull curse squeeze, left glove strain pull yell curse.

    chilly morning

I'm thinking a degree colder and I will put on the pants of my rain gear. I take the 407 from Airport to Woodbine everyday, it was def cold at speed this morning.

I refuse to wave to these two wheel up front trikes .

You wouldn't get it from me. I can tell the difference between "missing a wave" and a full blown snub. I understand sometimes you are watching traffic, clutching, paying attention otherwise. I'm sure I've missed waves as well, but how would I know?

I refuse to wave to these two wheel up front trikes .

I see a wave ( judging style of bike, make model, size of engine, analyzing gear, helmet, bandana, determining riders experience, counting wheels) check (determine appropriate response, nod, wave, dip hand under left bar, peace sign, finger) check. *finger* it is.

    RIP Sheridan motorcycle training

One of the instructors mentioned that Sheridan wants to have more of a university feel they want to move away from the "community college" image. Just what I was told.

I refuse to wave to these two wheel up front trikes .

Again, to answer your question, no you would not necessarily "deserve" the finger for that reason. I never said anyone deserved the finger, I said "a wave turns into the finger real easy" What you deserve and what you get are not the same things. For someone who "reads every word of every...

I refuse to wave to these two wheel up front trikes .

Have you read the entire thread? You choose my comment to question? And to answer your question no I don't "flip out", not everyone is unstable enough to "Flip out" over trivial details. Im not sure I have ever "Flipped out" Over anything. But yes, in fact I have actually been in the...

I refuse to wave to these two wheel up front trikes .

I'm not understanding your comment. Are you referring to the people who do not wave back as "weenies"? Or are you referring to me?

I refuse to wave to these two wheel up front trikes .

I wave at all bikes. I get snubbed by sport bike riders all the time. An unreturned wave turns into the finger real easy.

    Harley Cop Rant

I feel the same way. I would love to slow down on the 407 but I can't. It's to the point now I even tell myself "ok, let's just take it easy, nice relaxing ride home" no more than get on the highway and it's like "why are they driving so close, back off" I refuse to ride in a pack of cars at 110...

    Cigarette hit my helmet

Speaking of people not realizing about their cigarets, my own girlfriend did it to me 4 times. We were going up north, her in her car, me on my bike. I'm behind her and she's flicking them out her sunroof. I was being a good 2 second following rule boy so it really wasn't a big deal. Still, made...

Where have you ridden the last few weeks? Anything Interesting.

Toronto to Quebec City and back on the weekend. No sight seeing, hard riding there and back 1727km. Decided I will be investing in a better seat.
