Toronto Designated Motorcycle Parking & Cars with Accessible Parking Permits

Should I start leaving notes on windshields on yellow coloured paper? 😂

Toronto Designated Motorcycle Parking & Cars with Accessible Parking Permits

Anyone ever see cars getting tickets for this? It seems to be an epidemic and I’ve got a real bee in my bonnet lol. “Vehicles displaying accessible permits are not exempt from the following site specific prohibitions, where parking regulation signs have been installed: No parking in locations...

    Toronto Motorcycle and Powersport Show

I have one of those Transitions visors by Shoei. It’s great for the convenience, with 2 caveats: 1. The tint during sunny days isn’t as dark as a stand alone dark tinted visor. 2. As it reacts to UV, it will darken on cloudy days (when I would prefer a fully clear visor). YMMV!

    New ducati single

And the KTM appears to be about 25lbs lighter!!! It’s a no brainer imho.

    New ducati single

Heavier than the KTM….personally I like the looks of the KTM more (and this is coming from a former Hypermotard owner!)

    M1000XR finally revealed….

So BMW confirmed that hard panniers are not an option for this bike. However, there are optional soft bags at 8 litres each 😂

    Multistrada owners

Don't get me wrong, the V4 is incredible. It's just so smooth you don't realize how fast you're going, whereas you were quite aware on the twin!

    Multistrada owners

I’ve owned a 2011, 2016 and now a 2022 V4. The twin has more character than the V4 imho. Bit chuggy at low revs, but smooth as you start moving. Both of my twins had the Termi systems and ecu/map installed, which seemed to make them even more lively. Honestly, I can’t say enough about them...

    M1000XR finally revealed….

Honestly….I would be all over this if it weren’t for the apparent lack of pannier mounts. It’s a bargain when compared to the PP Multi, and the RS even moreso. I would miss the blind spot detection and adaptive cruise the Multi has, but I’m sure I’d get over that pretty quickly 😁

    Yamaha RZ500

Well, that Gamma sold….no idea what it went for, but presumably close to asking. Probably went to a U.S. buyer (they’re stealing all of our RGs! 😂). Favourable exchange rate may have made the price more appealing.

    Yamaha RZ500

For those with lots of $$$$. Have the prices on these gone THAT berserk? I’m not even sure that it would fetch this much on Iconic auctions….

    507….still gravel????

Headed up that way this weekend and haven’t been since last year. It had a massive section of loose gravel last year. Wondering if it’s now fully paved?

Always kicking myself for not buying that RG500 back in 2002 for $6800……

    Slip-on exhaust link pipe….tight fit.

Female end. It’s the mid-pipe connection. Heat might work too….it had been stored in the cold basement for months and only brought out yesterday to install. But figured I would pick up an expander just in case.

    Slip-on exhaust link pipe….tight fit.

Akrapovic. There are 2 link pipes (it’s a Triumph Scrambler). The other is easier…so probably the right part. It’s also awkward to work with. Going to try again, but I’ve also ordered a cheap expander that should work on the flanged end and do the trick.

    Slip-on exhaust link pipe….tight fit.

I’m willing to try anything at this point….it’s close, but not loose enough to get it all the way on and reposition if needed

    Slip-on exhaust link pipe….tight fit.

Any tips on installing a link pipe onto a header pipe? I normally use anti-seize, but this one is a tight fit. Wondering if I should use grease of some kind? Help!
