Just decided to get a newer bike since I'm not the most educated guy on bikes, choose to fork out a bit of extra cash to end any headaches I might get down the road.
2008 R1, $7500 plus tax, rather not get into heated arguments on the internet so i'll probably not reply to any flamers. The...
Agreed, this thread can be closed, I found the bike I wanted.
Insured, registered and ready for the road. Can't believe how immature some members of this forum can be but I can't expect much from the internet.
Thank you to everyone who did give great advice, safe riding!
Have been on kijiji everyday but I keep hearing these stories of magical bikes that only some forum members have access too that are cheaper and better than anything I can find "apparently".
Insurance = not an issue, fire away.
Those bikes including tax, registration, safety/diagnoses will be way over my budget. Im eighteen this year and theres no shame in admitting it. I was uneducated in the laws of registering a bike because service ontario doesn't seem to pick up their phone as well as my brother telling me...
Thanks! Will do, it sounds good to go from here on, I was just afraid that I'd get a bike and not being able to change ownership without insurance.
This is why math class is important.
The 600cc bikes are a ton of fun, but gearing down to a 250 would be a disappointment. I am looking at...
Yeah I am really considering that, but as a first bike I am not looking to spend alot of cash, my limit really was 3k but might just wait a bit and spend 4k to get a better bike.
Older bikes being carborated rather than fuel injected makes a difference too but none the less I am just looking...
Once again, thanks for your advice but I can see how from experienced you've learned otherwise. Some people cant handle a large bike and theres nothing wrong with that. I've been using 600 cc's and something higher would be fun. I'd much rather have a bike that I can enjoy riding for a bit than...
Sounds like great advice, greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much, I have seen those bikes and contacted the owners but have yet to hear a reply. I will hold off on the current grey zx9r due to the advice on this thread. But if I get a UVIP and theres nothing wrong with the bike I don't see...
Great bikes but none of which are for me, I may not know much about buying a used bike but I've ridden big ones and a smaller bike will just be a waste of my time/money.
Bad record?
I know what you're saying, thanks for the advice though. I wouldn't be happy riding a 250cc though.
I guess thats when you have to put it in first and ride it on the road
Yeah I slept on it and I am rushing to much to get my first bike, luckily some sense hit me before it was too late. He told me I could get my hands on a UVIP at a service ontario, I am gonna take it slow and get the UVIP, aswell as asking a garage I trust to take care of it.
If that doesn't...
