I seem to have bitten of more than I can chew trying to re-jet the carbs on my 2011 ninja 250. I got the tank off but I cant get my fat hands into the frame to loosen up the clamps so I can pull the carbs...

it kills me how often i'm riding around the city and i catch a wiff of the green long before i see it.
i started a similar thread a few months back. pick ups, sports sedans (predominatley bmws) and beat up ricers with fart cans are the worst culprits. i usually get and receive nice ride nods...

op check the insurance rates on a 250 ninja vs a 300. if they are the same, and you plan on buying new ( i would recommend this since you don't know what to look for in a used bike) take the 300, FI is idiot proof on cold mornings.
That being said the only thing the 250 won't do is straight...
last season i even had a guy intentionally cut me off because his girl was miring my bike. he starts talking smack at a red light, i tell him to fly a kite..... and he then gets out wielding a tire iron. as much as i wanted to hurt him i drove off instead.

to be honest, i like the 250 its fun, can't break 150 kph and catch a 50 over license suspension unless i'm on a downhill with a tailwind, but with crap like this happening i'm very tempted to build a turbo busa and ride with a Louisville slugger strapped to my back.
mostly gta highways an main streets this is happening. i usually wait until i can find a gap and weave through a pack, letting the traffic work as a buffer. Or loose them in a series of winds in the road. its a 250 but it isn't exactly a slouch, remember 0-60 times are in line with entry level...

-I have had a number of people drive extremely aggressively around my motorcycle, trying to what i assume is out race/kill me. Does this happen to anyone else? I even try and slow down so they can pass, but they will slow down and wait for me to approach.

had a little punk b***h like that pull out a tire iron on me after intentionally cutting me off.
In retrospect i did the right thing by just driving off, a cumwad like that isn't worth an aggravated assault with weapon charge.... but it irked me the whole day.
