Thanks for all your comments guys. I finally got myself a 2010 Speedmaster with upgraded pipes and I love it. Its got just 400KMS on it and I think I got a good price for it. 63% of a brand new price I like the look and feel of the speedy better than the America. Also its very easy to ride.

Thank you for the great comparison...I think "you are riding something a bit special" says a lot about the America...I like the 1200 too.. and like the loudness too... its just that I do not like to draw attention...I am leaning towards the America... saves me some money... and like you said...

Unfortunately I cannot ride them as this would be my first bike in Canada... and dont carry insurance...but having sat on them... I feel that the America would be more comfortable on a long ride ... not that I intent to take lots on long rides... it mostly going to be riding around the GTA...
