Well...Just got my inspection done. It was quite an extensive job. Thankfully, I didn't have to replace any shims, all measurements were smack in the middle. it was a bit scary as I was removing parts I had never touched in the passed. But it was an experience.
I ended up putting the existing...
I'm doing my first Valve inspection and possibly an adjustment on my Suzuki C109 (just over 21,000km). I've read the manual three times and must admit that It looks intimidating if it gets to valve adjustment. Particularly, for my bike since it has no adjustment screws on the valves and I have...
Actually, I tried the costco premium 91 twice and in both cases I got the FI light coming on. Then I used Shell 91 for refills and in both cases the FI light vanished. So I have keep on using Shell 91 octane and no FI light so far " knock on wood". SO....don't know what to say!!!
I got an OBD-0S1 diagnostic tool from XperTech sports bikes a couple of weeks ago and it indicated ISC (Idle Speed Control)motor valve to low. I haven't figured out how to adjust my ISC yet. I think it can be done through the OBD tool that I got. Just haven't done yet.
Can ISC be adjusted...
I did that, It was a great mistake. most manufacturers ( except Harley) only offer one-year warranty. the extended warranty offered by the dealer is outsourced from private companies how give you next to nothing. It's a big waist of money.
I did mine a couple of weeks ago and I happen to ask him the same same question. The answer was; "...change only one line when safe, and move back only when safe". Don't forget, this test is all about safety.
HAs anyone considered buying their tire from the States? Apparently they can be ordered to CBI just across the boarder and be picked up later.
Wonder if it's cheaper!!
Yes, I've been warned by others too. I hear its a hit or miss kind of thing. I was mainly interested because of what I hear from States, apparently you can get nice deals down there if you know where to go and can make it in time.
I'm interested in police bikes on auction. I hear they are hard to find. At least in Canada. But how and where can we get information on these auctions ahead of time? Can you find good deals?
Just take rout 90 all the way to Turnpike. It will take you on a comfortable drive and lots of rest areas. I wouldn't recommend the side roads the gas start ions are a few and far in between. unless, of course you like to make a 10-11 hr ride longer.
Enjoy it, its beautiful. Just watch out for...
I made a complaint to my dealership but couldn't get a straight answer from them. I later found that there is a way to correct this. But like everything else comes at a cost. You can buy what's called a "SpeedoHero" made by HealTech. It costs around $150 and its a plug-and-go little device. I...
Congrats!! Got mine today at the Aurora Centre. The head set they give you is pretty crapy though. It kept picking up signals from the construction people on the roads and I thought it was the examiner talking to me!!!. It was pretty confusing!! I even took a wrong turn along the way...
Hay Guys
Here it is. The equivalent of the Suzuki SDS tool set/software. Its OBD-S01 from Healtech they have a distributor in Ontario. you can only order it online and take a few days to get to you if you're in Ontario. follow the link blow. It costs $219.99 + taxes/shipping ($262.15 taxes and...
That's my gut's feeling too, boooya, it's got to be the fuel, cause the only thing new that I have tried recently is this new fuel. I'm also in the process of getting a SDS tool-set and the software that comes with it. Hopefully, I can get it from somewhere cheap so I can do my own...
Yes, I think I'm getting a lead to a retailer selling it to individuals at a very good price compared to the dealers. I will know this for sure by tomorrow and will let you guys know.
