I saw the downed bike, it was on the tracks. Looked like a red 250, possibly a CBR or Ninja, very new. It was right at the south end of the crescent and looked like he was heading north. I didn't see the person riding. I hope he was ok. Weird seeing an accident within site of my house, but it is...
If you don't like seeing the bikes at the meet don't go. If you don't like how people ride avoid them. I see just as many people do stupid things in a car.
Not everyone who owns a car goes to car shows...some people like the sound of their bikes. I always swing by to see the different brands...
I try to always swing by, I don't know anyone, but its fun to check out the rides. I didn't see and bmw s1000rr's last thursday though, disappointed wanted to hear some opinions. Not that I need a faster bike, already do dumb enough **** on the one I have....I need a faster bike.
I had a buddy ride it for me, thank god too, I wasn't ready for rush hour at all. Spent a weekend practising on my road until I slowly took it out in traffic.
When your new you spend a lot of time thinking about how to ride, and not what's happening around you. Ask a friend if you can.
There was some pretty intense moments there. Splitting cars that fast is risk. I don't under stand how this is shocking though, its an R1. Granted not everyone who buys a sport bike goes fast...but I would think most people buy them for that purpose. I could be wrong, happened once before.
Nice wheelie!
I'd like to how to do wheelies on my cbr600rr. Just haven't nutted up to it yet. I've put about 15000 on it now, I know how the bike handles, but I'd like to see what a wheelie is like. Hard part is finding a good lot to practice. I want some space. If I lived out of town where...
I might head out from work at noon from DT, if anyone is interested...actually **** it I'll solo there, be faster. Might be up for the group ride back though, PM with a number if you want to group back. I'm still up in the air if I can get out of work.
I agree with this, but even in a group ride, I do my own thing. If the leader switches lanes, I look around and switch when I feel safe. I ride staggered because that's smart. If I am leading I expect others to mind their own affairs and follow when and how they feel comfortable to do so.
You...
Pretty funny. He seems pretty mad most of the time. The make-up part made me laugh, because I find myself always saying "get away from this guy" every time on the highway, there is always at least one.
