I saw the butt coming at me but when you're on the highway there is no time to react really; only enough time to try and duck my head which really didn't work as it hit my forehead area.

Haha it happened to me tonight on the 401. Buddy threw the butt out of his sunroof, I saw it coming but could nothing and then clunk it hit me in the forehead of the helmet. Nothing I could do and didn't know if it was on purpose.
