another tool would be to bring in someone or have a graphic testimonial explaining the consequences of dangerous riding and not practicing safety judiciously. nothing works better than a real scare tactic. the more graphic and detailed the more effective it can be. the reenactment videos they...
there's nothing wrong with any course. a good suggestion would be assign students study materials like watching twist of the wrist. the principals are there. teaching it in-class is one thing but learning how to apply these principles and develop the mental and muscle memory is different...
the only way i cope with it is either 1) riding solo, negating the need for a group altogether and added risks 2) go on a group rides and just approach people who you think share the same style as you and keep in touch with them via cell.
once people know who they like riding with they keep it...
didn't notice the north bay part :/ ya 400 sounds about right...all this for a 250? there no 250's for sale in the GTA? it must be love at first sight..or borrow someones minivan or truck.
you can do this yourself. rent a u-haul ($20). take some parts off the bike for it to fit and tie it down. i've done this. it's possible. why spend more money then you need to? p.s. don't forget your tools and a solid piece of wood. transport at your own risk though.
Morning commutes on a bike are not fun. if anything try to negotiate a later time to show up for work, that way you avoid the morning rush and evening rush and actually enjoy the ride, if your allowed that luxury. every artery leading into downtown is a bust before 9:30am and is even worse after...
