Is helmet theft/ vandalism a thing in Toronto?

How will everyone know that I'm cool and ride a motorcycle if they don't see me carry my helmet around?

No more searching for pink slips

Long time ago I was pulled over while driving my car. My insurance slip had expired but the cop was able to check his computer to confirm I had valid insurance. So I think some form of this database must exist somewhere

    Anti-Theft Devices

I have an alarmed disc lock more as a deterrent to would-be vandals and casual thieves looking for an easy opportunity. But a disk lock can easily be defeated, or bypassed by lifting the entire bike. But then again, that's what insurance is for.

Lane splitting at a red light?

That hit on future vehicle insurance is going to sting too!

    Zin Motowear??? (Riding Jeans)

$420 is pretty steep for riding denim. Have you looked into Resurgence or Bullit jeans? Both can be had with a full lining of PEKEV/Kevlar/other proprietary abrasion resistant material, and also comes with or can be fitted with knee and hip armour. My wife has a pair of fully lined Bullit jeans...

    Ram Mounts

What will you be using as the mount for your actual phone? I have the X-grip myself. If you are buying the X-grip, make sure you add a small dollop of glue to the rubber tips before installing them onto the arms. You can also buy (or maybe it's included now) a rubber tether that sits behind the...

    Shotgun frame slider seller?

If you're replacing just the puck, then it would be cheaper than buying the original slider set (including install kit). I've previously gotten a set of Shogun sliders from Blue Streak Racing if you want to double check pricing.

    Motorcycle show parking?

There will be a large lot just outside of the Enercare centre, but cost will be something like $20.

Pilot Road 4 on Super Sport

I have them on my F4i. They grip really well in the wet and are confidence inspiring. Tread life seems to be pretty good as well, and is holding up well to my commute to work. Can't speak to the "sport" characteristics of the tire since I've never tracked my bike before and I tend to go pretty...

    Temporary HOV lanes

The dumb one is the person who: 1) puts himself in greater danger (exposing himself to traffic in two directions in a lane position most motorists are not expecting a motorcycle to be) and 2) gives the cops an excuse to give him a ticket

    Temporary HOV lanes

Let's not get distracted from the real issue here: f*** the Pan Am games, and f*** the HOV lanes

Sport bike riders, I have questions for you!

I would like to suggest taking a rider training course if you are new to riding. They can be expensive but worth every penny IMHO

    Stolen 2008 Suzuki GSXR600

Get an older, less desirable bike as your next bike. The uglier, the better.

    2015 Demo Days

I found the R3 anemic and very softly sprung. Switchgear was impressive for a beginner bike though, and styling is pretty nice.
