Fire & Theft on Declared Value?

I think what you're looking for will be a OPCF 19A rider on your insurance policy. You'll need to find a company that offers this, and also will require an appraisal. This is the same insurance rider that Classic car guys use when they restore old vehicles and have a ton of money tied up into...

State Farm renewal raises my Super Sport rate 275% on BMW

Just got blind sided by my renewal. 2001 F4i, was $1100. 30 years old, clean record, no accidents, with M, riding since I was 19. Renewal acme in at $2500. Thanks Statefarm. I'm moving all my insurance elsewhere. All-state won't help me unless I move my cars and house to them but I get TOO...

    Mgp growler vs yoshimura????

100% in agreement. On a Ninja 250, the Growler is garbage. The best sounding pipes on Ninja 250's that I've heard are Yoshimura and Hindle. Not too loud, not too quiet.

    Anyone riding on Q2s?

I'd agree with that! I never came to terms with the BT-016's yet several friends really enjoyed theirs. I have never felt a lack of grip between the Pilot Power 2CT's, the Q2's or BT-016. I just know that in terms of handling, and setup with my suspension & bike that the Michelins worked for me...

    Anyone riding on Q2s?

Call me crazy but.. I actually preferred Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's on my F4i then the Q2's that are on it now. I've run Shinko Whatevers, BT-014, BT-016, Pirelli Diablo Superbike Pro's, Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's, and now Dunlop Sportmax Q2's. (**Superbike Pro's are on my trackbike which...

There was a large group of people last night who left French's for a ride @ 7. You probably just missed them. By 7:30, if there is a ride on any particular monday, the place may have just cleared out at that point. Sorry about that. I wasn't there as I'm on nights right now but my wife tells...

Orillia Bike Night! Monday Nights 6:30pm @ French's Stand - Couchiching Beach Park

Hey folks, Figured I'd post this up. Monday nights, in Orillia! Been getting great consistant turn outs at French's stand. They are offering a 'Bike Night' special. $5 burger, fries, drink. People meet at 6:30pm-6:40pm. A group often leave for a ride around 7:15pm but not everyone does...

    M license route in Orillia

Been about 4 years since I rode my M test, but this is as I recall it. (See attached pic.) You start at the Drive Test facility and head down Laclie towards downtown. At somepoint you ended up on Matchedash St. and on the far side of Colborne St. An "emergency pull-over" was requested infront...

    Camping with a bike

I bring the absolute minimal stuff if I'm camping on the bike. Small Jack Wolfskin tent (1 person backpacking tent), small sleeping bag (10 degree + only) and thats it. Eat at restaurants or things that don't need a stove (sausages over fire etc). If I'm camping on my bike its because I'm on a...

    MotoGP 2012

All of the races are in 720p HD on Videopass, yes. As long as your internet can handle it, its awesome!! I love being able to kick back on my lazy day off and watch qualifying sessions or warmups. I really enjoy the commentary during these events too. It gives you a lot more insight into the...

    MotoGP 2012

Hah! that was a good race - Rossi & Biaggi ended up throwing a few punches at each other on the way up to the podium too.. I don't think Stoner is a whiner. He is just playing the game like any other rider that is contending for the championship. It often seems to me that the only guy out...

    Best Earphones for Riding?

Shure SE215's. Amazing sound quality, and up to 37dB of sound attenuation. You don't have to blast your music full volume and kill your hearing. They also sit totally flush in your ear as they are proper in-ear-monitors.. Don't bother my ears with a helmet on...

Parking your motorcycle in a shed

I have the larger version of that tent - 10x17 and keep my car in it. It lasted 1.5 years, including 2 winters. For the price, I'm pretty darn happy with that!! Where it is, its frequently exposed to high winds. I recommend getting a bunch of stakes to pin it down because the "stock" pegs...
