Re: Insurance cost has gone crazy, What insurance co is fair $$ for large cc "R" bik
^ that surprises me... I almost purchased tuono because the rate would have been same as my old monster.
Im with allstate no as well. 1250/yeah for 848 evo, and it should drop to about 860 next year. They...

JFD
it would be understandable if they "disclosed" everything. In stead, they never mentioned "FYI it only has ONE key", which is quite important in the world of DUCs, nor did they state "as is" and they did state "FULL SERVICE will be done before the sale". I asked multiple times about the...
ESPRO
thats really cheap!!! he never emailed me.
I found a guy close to me for $140 with key. It works... its not identical to my OEM key but has same shape.
Also found couple places in US that actually reflash the lcd display, make a new code and make 2 keys.. so this whole "need to buy a Brand New display" is B.S.
The dealership did the service, and picked her up on friday just in time to get some riding in that day.
I also found someone who does keys for $140 (key incl), so thats my priority for now... Ill be still fishing to find the previous owner and possibly trying the dealership it was originally...
this is the time to buy bikes, people are desperate to dump them due to storage issues or lack of interest in riding all together. In April and March prices spike and deals get nabbed asap.
I just purchased something that would probably cost me 2k more in spring. Parking underground is an issue...
I agree. If i end up having issues getting one, Ill be forced to increase this matter as well.. its already a small headache as its hard to find someone who actually can clone one. Im being patient right now and keeping cool. Ill see if I can get this done without their help

I know visually its my fault for not noticing the outside damage, but this is something beyond that. The sale included a full...
I fully agree... I usually do that with every vehicle I buy that is used. Check and replace all fluids and do all service unless I can actually see for myself that it has been replaced.
Im not afraid of these bikes and I wouldn't hesitate to get my hands dirty and do some if not all things on...
Im counting on that.. ill be pushing them to get the info for me.
as for the service being done, ill be doing some of my own checking on sunday to see if the belts were replaced recently.
red keys were only given up to 2007. after that it was two keys and the Card. I know the card contains 2 codes, one electrical and one mechanical.

ill be pushing for this but I am very skeptical. many many owners loose this...
I picked up the bike yesterday.
so this is still being resolved, Im trying to be patient and respectful but made it clear I am not happy with the overall experience.
this is what happened:
Bike was left unwashed, dusty and dirty, the way it was when I saw it first time.... though "no big deal"...
Hey guys,
im specifically looking for some general info about your experience. I just purchased a 848evo(used) from Maranello bmw/ducati in Vaughan and to my surprise, at my pickup, they only gave me one key and tried to convince me this model did not come with a Key Card and 2 keys. After...
