How is the metric speedo handled? I hope to import a Transalp this month and it of course has mph. Is it only the speedo or does odo have to be recalibrated or replaced? By whom? Thanks- Indochine

In the first instance, did you take the Ontario temporary plate to US with you and rode up? Second instance, I couldn't find anything on Pennsylvania DMV site about temporary plates. Been without motorcycle since fall 2009 after unhappiness with three bikes in a row. But retirement is imminent so a Transalp or KLR650 is in my crosshairs. As is a new home somewhere in Southeast Asia. Want a bike for when I return to Canada a couple times of the year.- Indochine
